Holy cow! This last weekend of the season is UNBELIEVABLE! The Tigers collapse, the Mets falling apart, the Yankees/ Bluejays going down to the wire, The Guardians!, Cal Raleigh, The MVP choice?!, The Reds …Damn, where do we start?
Let’s start with some of these Colossal Collapse! Standings on July 8, 2025:

WOW! Look at the collapse of the Tigers. They went from being in a 5 game winning streak playing .634 winning ball with a 15 1/2 game lead to 1 game out in an 8 game losing streak playing only .538 ball now. From 25 games OVER .500 to only 12 games over .500 now. Everyone is pretty aware of that much now, but look at the Astros as well. In July they were running away with the division as well leading by 6 1/2 games playing .598 ball, 18 games over .500. Now? They are 5 games behind, playing at .532 ball only 10 games over .500. Basically we have had 2 collapse in the American League.
