Season 2 - Episode 32 - Still A Chance?
Welcome to Episode 32, Season 2, today we are going to talk about, “Still a Chance” to get into playoffs. Kind of a weird season this year. If you try to remember all the hype back in March about could the Dodgers win OVER 116 games, or could the Braves have another shot at a World Series, The chance of Elly De La Cruz as an MVP candidate.
As far as teams and their positions…Geez…We have stated it ALL season long. The year of the IMPLODING bullpens. It has affected ALL teams and this season the team that SURVIVES the 162 game season and enters the playoffs with hot starting pitching WILL be the World Series winner…NO doubt in my mind.
As we enter the final full month of the season, who is REALLY in it?
American League
Looks like it will go down to 3 teams for the East Division. The Blue Jays, Red Sox and Yankees. None of these teams are really World Series contenders, so it really doesn't matter where they end up in the playoffs. All are inconsistent, and can be GREAT or BAD.
