In our 28th Episode of Season 2, we are gonna talk about the Trade Deadline Results and the status of the team formally known as the Oakland A’s.
Who made out?
July 25 - Saw the period begin with the NY Yankees acquiring 3B - Ryan McMahon of Colorado Rockies for 2 prospects. For the Yankees, hopefully this will sure up the shitty defense the Yankees paraded out as third basemen.
July 25 - Also had the Seattle Mariners diving in early in picking up Josh Naylor from the Arizona Diamondbacks. GREAT pickup here for sure. But…the Mariners suck and can only hope for a Wild Card spot.
Some early trades transpired but without any major impact to the current teams. LOTS of names were still being floated around. I wasn’t really planning on disecting each trade, you can get enough of that on MLB Network.
